From a clinical perspective, several studies conducted during the reference period fall within the field of neuropsychology and have focused on the cognitive characterization of various clinical conditions (e.g., Cuny and al., 2017, 2022a,b; Borne andet al., 2022; Pinabiaux et al., 2022), with the aim of contributing to early and differential diagnosis (e.g., Angeard and al., 2018; Msika and al., 2022).

We are involved in several national and international clinical networks. In this context, N. Angeard participates in an international network developing specialized diagnostic recommendations for DM1 (Angeard and al., 2018; Johnson and al., 2019). Since 2019, P. Narme has been collaborating with the European Consortium on Cross-Cultural Neuropsychology (Franzen and al., 2021) to develop neuropsychological tests of episodic memory and executive functions adapted for the assessment of older adults with limited educational backgrounds or low literacy in French (Narme and al., 2019, 2022; PhD thesis by R. Bourdage).

Our research in fundamental psychology leads to applied research, with a particular focus on developing innovative tools for use in professional and healthcare settings. In this context, several studies have aimed to develop and validate new methods for optimizing cognition in demanding real-world situations involving high levels of emotional stress and cognitive load, and placing substantial demands on sustained attention, working memory, and executive functions (e.g., aircraft pilots, forensic police officers), as well as in the context of cognitive ageing and diseases associated with cognitive impairment.
